About Me
I am a speech-language pathologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of voice, upper airway, and swallowing disorders, with training and clinical experience at leading academic medical centers including the University of Pittsburgh Voice Center, the UC Davis Center for Voice and Swallowing, and the University of Colorado Department of Otolaryngology.
My work spans both clinical practice and professional education. I have authored 14 peer-reviewed publications, with additional work currently in press, and contributed six book chapters focused on voice, breathing, cough, and swallowing. I have delivered more than 100 presentations to speech-language pathologists and interdisciplinary professionals across the United States and internationally.
In addition to clinical work, I am deeply committed to education and mentorship. I have taught in graduate programs at multiple institutions and have developed and directed annual training courses for clinicians, attracting participants from around the world. I also serve as co-chair of a national committee dedicated to advancing education and access for students and clinicians entering this specialty area.
As part of this commitment, I host a free monthly webinar for graduate students interested in careers in voice, upper airway, and swallowing disorders, helping to support the next generation of clinicians in the field.
